Make sure they are lightweight, if their favorite toy is a something heavy then you might have to have a substitute. Also, make sure all toys are age appropriate. Which means they might need to be changed out as time goes by, much like you rotate food storage. If there is a real need for a heavier item then it should be in an adult Bug-Out-Bag.

Not all of these items would be found in every child’s Bug-Out-Bag. Remember keep it age appropriate and maturity appropriate. And this list does not include everything that you could include. Remember to customize your child’s bag to your environment and to your family.
